Fluorescence security features of Indian new 2,000 Rupee

With the currency reform at the end of 2016, India banned the circulation of old currency and started to issue new currency.

Let's take a look at the fluorescence security elements of a new 2,000 rupee note.

- Front : Under UV light, a part of the design turns fluorescent yellow-green, and the black serial number turns green. Fluorescence security fibers appear throughout the entire note. In the partially exposed silver line, "RBI 2000, RBI दो हज़ार रुपये" shows up in neon yellow-green.

- Back : Under UV light, some parts of the design turn fluorescent orange. Fluorescence security fibers appear throughout the entire note. In the back of the partially exposed silver line, a fluorescent yellow-green strip appears.
